On August 8, China Haisum Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “China Haisum”) held the Conference on the Work in the First Half of 2024 in Shanghai. The attendees to the Conference at the main venue and video sub-venue included the full-time external directors of Poly Sinolight, the members of the leadership team of China Haisum, the heads of the departments at the Headquarters, the principal leaders of business entities, as well as the members of the leadership team, department heads, and employee representatives of business entities.
Following the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Conference thoroughly studied and implemented the guiding principles from the Party’s 20th National Congress and the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Party Central Committee, conveyed and implemented the guiding principles from the conferences of Poly Group and Poly Sinolight on the work in the first half of 2024, summarized the progress of business management, development and reform work in the first half of 2024, laid out major tasks for the second half of 2024, and mobilized all cadres and employees to proceed with confidence, to seize opportunities, and to build on the sound momentum, for the purpose of ensuring high-quality completion of the goals and tasks for the year 2024.
At the Conference, Zhao Guoang, Deputy General Manager of Poly Sinolight and Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Haisum, first conveyed the guiding principles from the conferences of Poly Group and Poly Sinolight on the work in the first half of 2024.
Chen Rongrong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of China Haisum, delivered a work report on business operations in the first half of 2024 with the title of "Revitalizing New Momentum, Advancing Despite Pressure, and Striving to Achieve New Heights in High-quality Development of China Haisum". The Report has comprehensively summarized the production and business operations in the first half of 2014. In 2024, China Haisum has been centering on the primary task of high-quality development, and focusing on eight key tasks: "strengthening the foundation for traditional business, expanding the range of the second curve, returning to overseas growth, taking marketing to new heights, consolidating scientific and technological innovation for long-term development, deepening institutional reforms, exploring market value management, and enhancing Party building guarantees"; it has made solid progress in market development, operational control, technological innovation, development and reform, Party building and other work, and continued to maintain a steady development trend.
The Report has also analyzed the main problems that remain, and laid out plans for key tasks for the second half of 2014:

Zhao Guoang delivered a concluding speech with the title of "Anchoring Advantageous Directions, Optimizing the Allocation of Resources, and Improving the Quality and Efficiency of Business Operations". He pointed out that from 2020 to 2023, the Company's performance significantly increased, demonstrating the Company's firm commitment to achieving the goals of the 14th Five-Year Plan. During this period, the Company achieved breakthrough progress in various aspects such as market, management, technology, risk control, and capital, laying a solid foundation for future development. However, in the face of the complex and challenging external environment, we still must intensify our efforts to advance internal management measures and improve efficiency. With the help of the Boston Matrix, Zhao Guoang conducted a detailed analysis of the Company as a whole and its various business units. In light of the current business situation, he proposed corresponding strategies for the Company's four major operations and business entities. At the Conference, the members of the Company's business operation team respectively delivered keynote speeches with the titles of "Ideas on the Construction of the System of Integrating Business and Finance", "Ideas on the Development Direction and Path Construction of Brand and Marketing", "Ideas on the Whole-process and Whole-cost Dynamic Management System", and "Practice and Thinking on the Accountability System for the Project Manager".
The Strategic Operations Center of the Headquarters reported the production and business operations in the first half of 2024. The Workplace Safety Supervision Department publicized and interpreted the "Management Measures for Safety Accident Punishments". The Intelligent Manufacturing Division and the “Dual Carbon” Technology Innovation Center exchanged and reported their work in light of their respective business sectors. Zheng Wen, general manager of the Shanghai headquarters, shared the "Ideas on the Acceptance and Execution of 3D Design Empowering Projects".
